The banana bread is a delicious cake of American origin born to use of over-ripe bananas to be eaten alone. INGREDIENTS:

200g light brown sugar
100g butter, softened
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 eggs
300 g of very ripe bananas (2 large bananas)
180 g flour
1 teaspoon baking powder

100 g of cream cheese

Put the butter, sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and knead with electric whisk until you have a light cream and frothy. Lightly beat the eggs and mix them gradually into the mixture at high speed.
Mash the bananas and add them to the mixture. Sift flour with baking powder and add to the mixture by mixing at low speed, then add the nuts and chocolate chips.
Grease and flour a loaf pan and pour the mixture. Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes. Before turning out always do the toothpick test that must come out dry. Cool the cake on a wire rack.
Prepare the frosting, mix the butter with the sugar until you have a light cream and foamy, gradually add the cream cheese and stir until they are well blended. Built the mashed banana and let solidify in the fridge. When cold, sprinkle the cake with a spatula. Do solidify for 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Serve at room temperature.
