Sweet cake with pumpkin and raisins, recipe
The recipe for pumpkin pie and raisins, a soft and sweet that melts in your mouth

350g flour
- 300 g sugar
- 300 grams of pumpkin
- 125 grams of seed oil
- 5 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of cinnamon

- 200 grams of raisins
- 2 glasses of milk
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar

Excellent for breakfast or as a dessert after a meal, pumpkin pie enriched with raisins is easy to achieve and especially tasty because it combines sweet and mellow pumpkin with the most decided raisins. The basis for a more personal touch by adding almonds or pine nuts, the recipe is simple and affordable for everyone.

Clean the pumpkin, cut into slices and boil it in a pot with two glasses of milk, over moderate heat. Once softened, shake it until you have a smooth mixture and let it cool. In a separate bowl whisk the eggs with the sugar until you have a mixture is white and fluffy.

You can then add the oil, pumpkin puree, flour, vanilla and cinnamon and mix everything very delicate. In half a glass of warm milk, dissolve the baking powder and then mix it into the mixture. Then add the raisins which have previously soaked in warm water, wring well and floured.

Pour into buttered and floured and bake at 180 degrees for about 35 minutes. Garnish with a dusting of icing sugar and, if you want to add a touch greedy, served with dark chocolate and almonds shelled as a side dish.
